For the past year we have been planning one of our biggest launches ever to arrive at MYKA: The Link Collection. From endless nights and meetings, our team has lived and breathed links on repeat. We are finally proud to reveal all this goodness to you and show you what we have been working on!
The Link Collection was designed of links that double to symbolize the dualism of life. The collection is about the different parts that make up who we are, the strong connections and bonds we form with others, and the sides of every story. The collection was formed with lots of layering in mind, there are multiple ways to wear each piece and double up with. Our goal is to help you achieve a chain reaction: double the links=double the style.
The photoshoot for the Links Collection was inspired by all that is summer; sun-kissed skin, nothing but blue skies, beach views, sun hats, gorgeous gleaming light, and lots and lots of gorgeous golden layers. Our location was set on the boardwalk by the beach with our model, Noya being all smiles getting into the playful vibe of summer.
This summer our tag line is Design Your Summer. We are designing our summer with pieces of optimism and inspiration, and it is in your hands how you would like to design YOURS. We created a shoot that represents positivity and freedom, as sunshine is the best medicine. Being on shoot and seeing the work that we have put into this collection for the past year was so special to see it brought to life. Our mission was to bring something new, fresh, and effortless to MYKA, and this launch was exactly what we envisioned.
The collection will be launched in editions and right now we would love to introduce our main chains which are: Allegra, Audrey, Siena, and the Strongest Link. We designed each chain to be a different texture and size matching all moods and styles. What differentiates the links is that we designed two different types in which you can pick from a classic link chain or a customizable piece which can be customized by you in any which way you desire. Some include fun charms that can be personalised with sentimental dates, initials, names, or any word of your choice, others include heart tags and pearls- or you may opt for the classic link chain.
As we mentioned, the links are created with a chain reaction in mind. Layer up your golden pieces as gold is in. These are your chain essentials for this summer and will complete your golden glow. There is a chain for every outfit- don’t be afraid to stack, more is ALWAYS more. Explore endless layering possibilities, using your link chain as your centerpiece to the stack. We recommend to layer by contrasting with lengths and textures- for a true chain domain.
